I usually take the flock to the side field by way of the front driveway. But I didn't want them to knock down or eat Mother Tulip. So I led them the long way through the lavender field and through the bottom gate to the side hills. I usually don't go this way due to time, but I realized that this simple change of a morning routine helps at this stage. My morning ritual often involved calling my mom to check in and chat over a coffee, but this change in my morning ritual with the flock made me realize change in all rituals are possible.
