I had a strange but nice phone call yesterday. A woman called and said she was a fan and had bought my book recently. She wanted me to know that the section on making art and the lesson on working through loss really helped her when her father died, and two weeks ago she lost her husband and was now doing the same exercises. She had no idea my mom died last week. The timing was odd but it reminded me that my art will help others, and me.
